Before the tour
- Look up the centre on our table of all Toronto centres and note its latest inspection result and date.
- Read how to read the results, so you know what a result does and does not mean.
- If anything is unclear, write the question down and ask it on the tour. A good centre is happy to answer.

On the tour
Notice how the room feels at the time of day your child would be there, not only first thing in the morning. Ask how they handle a sick child, how toys are cleaned, and where the written routine is kept. You are not inspecting anyone; you are getting to know a place your child may spend a lot of time.
